Access to Health Information
While at HCN Global, managed a project for the HHS, Office for Civil Rights (OCR), including the creation of digital ads, graphic design, and out-of-home advertising for a public awareness initiative under the All of Us Research Program. The campaign, which ran in Chicago and Atlanta, aimed to educate African American and Hispanic women about their right to access health records, ensuring that no one can deny them this access.
Health Advocacy for Latino Communities
Partnering with KFF Health News, a national newsroom that produces original journalism on health issues, I led the collaboration with La Red Hispana to produce, review, edit, and share Spanish-language content across web, social media, and radio platforms. The content highlighted how health issues and policies in the U.S. affect Latino and underrepresented communities, offering important tips for navigating the healthcare system.

Organ Donation Awareness and Education
At HCN Global, contributed to cultural and linguistic review, content creation, and TransCreation for the OrganDonor.gov Spanish Facebook page, a project by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The initiative aimed to educate and inform the Hispanic community about organ donation, how to register, understand the process, get involved, and access resources for professionals.
Dr. Shaps | Health Radio Show
Supported La Red Hispana’s production team in editing and publishing timely resources on social media and web platforms for the weekly 'Dr. Shaps' health radio show. The program provides underrepresented Hispanic communities with free, reliable health guidance from Dr. Ilán Shapiro, a California-based doctor with years of experience helping the Latino community make informed health decisions. Listeners are encouraged to call in live for personalized answers to their questions, with the show serving as a public service to empower and inform.
Water Sports Foundation | Boating Safety
Oversaw a Spanish-language multimedia campaign promoting boating safety, including lifejacket use and boating courses, aimed at reducing injuries and fatalities.
California Department of Public Health
Provided cultural and linguistic reviews and TransCreation for the California Department of Public Health’s Opioids webpage tailored for Spanish-preferring seniors.
Building a Culture of Health
Collaborated on production assistance, logistics, and graphic design for HCN Global’s National Hispanic Media Retreat. Our combined efforts brought together leaders and media executives to discuss health improvements for the US Hispanic community.
