Behavioral & Mental Health

Behavioral Health Services and Resources

Collaborated in the creation, strategy, development, design, and publishing of social media and web content for a behavioral health initiative by TLC-MD, a nonprofit client of Captiva Branding. This initiative raises awareness about free or low-cost mental health and substance use programs available to eligible residents of Prince George’s County. It supports TLC-MD’s mission to improve health outcomes in Southern Maryland through education and community engagement. Our organic and paid content efforts contributed to significant growth in 2024, including a 703.1% increase in reach, 473.4% increase in content interactions, 227.2% increase in link clicks, and 697.1% overall engagement growth.

Substance Use Awareness Campaigns

While working at HCN Global, supported the production, talent casting, Spanish language supervision, and TransCreation of multimedia materials for three SAMHSA Recovery Month substance use campaigns. These campaigns focused on marijuana use in young people, substance use during pregnancy, and the effects of marijuana on the brain. The initiatives aimed to raise awareness within the Hispanic community and empower individuals to make informed decisions regarding marijuana use.

Mental Health & Community Care

Support the social media, newsletter, and web content strategy, development, design, and publishing for Kennedy Counseling Collective, a women-owned mental health counseling practice in Washington, D.C., and a client of Captiva Branding. The project amplifies their mission to provide compassionate, culturally responsive therapy that’s rooted in community, accessibility, and teamwork. Since the collaboration began in February 2025, Kennedy Counseling Collective’s social media organic reach has grown by 216.8%, content interactions by 366.7%, and link clicks by 600%, reflecting a growing local presence and community engagement.

Mental Health Radio Shows | “La Dra Isabel” & “Hablemos”

Supported La Red Hispana’s production team in editing and publishing timely social media and web content for the weekly mental health radio programs “La Doctora Isabel” and “Hablemos.”  These shows provide underrepresented Hispanic communities with free, reliable guidance from Dr. Isabel Gómez-Bassols and Dr. Eduardo López Navarro, encouraging listeners to call in live for personalized answers to their mental health questions.

Our collective efforts contributed to La Red Hispana’s overall 2024 results, which included over 86 million impressions (+96%), net audience growth of 156,602 (+1,505.7%), 324,878 reactions (+170.3%), and nearly 12 million video views, demonstrating the strong reach and impact of the organization’s content on Hispanic communities.
